Set Up has hired Karin Hyltse as a senior project manager to support its growth in both private and public sector work. Hyltse, who previously led projects at CBRE/Turner & Townsend, joins as the company expands its operations and takes on more assignments. The recruitment aligns with Set Up’s current phase of expansion, where both existing projects and new contracts are increasing in volume, requiring additional capacity to manage the workload effectively.
The move reflects Set Up’s increasing demand for project leadership, particularly in complex initiatives spanning planning, budgeting, tenders, execution, and relocation. Her appointment comes as the firm scales up existing projects while securing new contracts across industries, including both private and public sector clients.
Set Up’s senior advisor and partner, Magnus Åkerberg, called the hire a strategic addition. “Her expertise in end-to-end project delivery aligns with our focus on quality and client collaboration,” he said. “With more public and private sector work coming in, her experience will help us maintain efficiency while growing.” Åkerberg highlighted that Hyltse’s ability to drive projects from inception to completion will be particularly valuable as the company handles a period of accelerated growth, ensuring that both new and ongoing assignments meet high standards.

Hyltse’s background includes roles at Sono Group, Senab, and Volkswagen Finans Sverige. She holds a degree in economics (civilekonom) from Gothenburg School of Economics and specialized training in project and change management. At CBRE/Turner & Townsend, she managed real estate projects for Swedish and international clients, handling everything from inception to handover, including budgeting, procurement, and relocation logistics. Her experience also extends to organizational development and change initiatives, where she has supported large-scale transitions across industries.
In her new role, Hyltse emphasized the appeal of Set Up’s agile structure and direct client engagement. “The combination of high competence, short decision paths, and hands-on project involvement is what drew me here,” she said. “I’m excited to contribute during this dynamic phase of growth.”
She will start in September 2026.
