Trehan IRIS Launches Rs 1

Published on 14/09/2026By Isla Vaughan

Trehan IRIS has committed Rs 1,300 crore to its flagship residential project, Omara, in Gurugram’s Sector 80. The project targets the world’s fastest-growing segment of the global wellness economy, entering an Indian market where the category has previously seen limited representation, Trehan IRIS said in a press release.

According to the Global Wellness Institute, global wellness real estate expanded from $151 billion in 2017 to nearly $900 billion in 2025, reflecting an average annual growth rate of 23.6% since 2019. The sector is projected to surpass $1 trillion in 2027 and reach $1.8 trillion by 2030.

Gurugram’s Luxury Housing Boom

The investment comes as Delhi-NCR consolidates its position as India’s largest luxury housing market by transaction value. In 2025, Gurugram’s sales of homes priced above Rs 10 crore totaled Rs 24,120 crore, surpassing the Mumbai Metropolitan Region’s Rs 21,902 crore for the first time.

Gurugram also captured over 73% of all new residential launches in Delhi-NCR during the second quarter of 2026. Anarock data for H1 FY2026 indicates that luxury and premium homes represented nearly 42% of new residential supply across key Indian cities, driving Rs 2.98 lakh crore in residential sales value—a 7% increase year-on-year.

Omara: India’s First Wellbeing Luxury Residences

Spanning 5.08 acres, Omara offers 320 golf-facing residences across three towers, overlooking the Aravalli environment. Conceived around a “Designed for Life” philosophy, the developer describes the project as India’s first wellbeing luxury residences.

A 1.25 lakh sq. ft. clubhouse features over 110 amenities, including a 55,000 sq. ft. wellness facility – India’s largest residential wellness club. The facility includes an on-site longevity clinic, personalized wellness programs, and advanced therapies.

The development’s architectural design was completed by UHA London in collaboration with Spain’s Esteva i Esteva. Milind Soman serves as Wellness Advisor to Trehan IRIS.

Sustainable and Tech-Driven Living

Omara’s residences feature 3.5 and 4.5 BHK layouts, ranging from 3,250 to 4,150 sq. ft. Each home includes a private lift lobby, Vastu-compliant floor plans, and wrap-around decks.

The project emphasizes sustainability and technology, with hospital-grade air filtration, thermal concrete skin, and HCFC-free climate systems. Omara has achieved WELL v2 and IGBC Platinum certifications.

Located in Sector 80, Omara offers direct arterial access to NH-48 and the Dwarka Expressway, connecting residents to major commercial hubs. Commenting on the investment decision, Abhishek Trehan, Executive Director, Trehan IRIS, stated: “The capital deployment targets the world’s fastest-growing segment of the global wellness economy, entering an Indian market where the category has previously seen limited representation. With Omara, we are not adding wellness to a luxury project. We are building an address where wellbeing is the category itself, and we believe that is where long-term value in this market will sit.”
