Toyota Land Cruiser will stop production?
Jakarta (ANTARA) – Recently, news has emerged regarding the cessation of production of Toyota’s iconic vehicle, the Land Cruiser, in the United States market, The Drive reported on Monday.
This news is still confusing but is believed to come true, because in the US market where the trend for trucks and SUVs is increasingly skyrocketing, the Toyota Land Cruiser has failed to break sales of 4,000 units a year in that country since 2006.
Furthermore, General Manager of Ed Martin Toyota in Indianapolis, Eric Sarjeant, claimed that the Land Cruiser 200-Series would soon be withdrawn from the United States. The news was then posted on the IH8Mud Forum, a popular place for Land Cruiser owners.

Although that’s bad news for fans off-road, this makes sense from a business perspective. Toyota already sells essentially the same truck below the Lexus LX, and the price is much higher if the options add up.
