Surabaya City Government collaborates with travel to support Romokalisari Adventure Land tourism
Surabaya (ANTARA) – The Surabaya City Government is collaborating with all travel agencies in the City of Heroes, East Java, to support the existence of the new tourist destination Romokalisari Adventure Land.
“Thank God, we have collaborated with all travel agencies in Surabaya,” said Surabaya Mayor Eri Cahyadi in Surabaya, Saturday.
According to him, with this collaboration, it is hoped that it will make it easier for people to visit Romokalisari Adventure Land, which was just launched last Sunday (25/9).
Currently, he said, there are seven rides available at Romokalisari Adventure Land including Playground, Mini Zoo, Horse Riding Arena, ATV, Canoe and Lifeboat in the mangrove and Jetski.
Cak Eri explained that currently he is completing the construction of a number of spots in the Romokalisari Adventure Land tourist attraction. A number of spots include the Mini Zoo.
“Now we are continuing to improve it. Hopefully by the end of December, all the rides will be available,” he said.
Apart from that, the Surabaya City Transportation Department (Dishub) has also prepared transportation services in the form of the Suroboyo Bus to the Romokalisari Adventure Land tourist destination.
Head of the Surabaya Transportation Agency, Tundjung Iswandaru, said that on weekends, the Suroboyo Bus route can go as far as Romokalisari Adventure Land. People can catch a ride from Joyoboyo Intermodal Terminal (TIJ), Tambak Osowilangun Terminal (TOW) and other available bus stop locations.
“On Saturday-Sunday (Suroboyo Bus) we run the route to Romokalisari Adventure Land,” he said.
Tundjung explained that his party provided 4-6 fleets for the Suroboyo Bus route to Romokalisari Adventure Land. This fleet also serves the reverse route from Romokalisari Adventure Land back to TOW to TIJ.
“The hours start in the morning until the end. Later from Romokalisari Adventure Land, Suroboyo the bus returns to TIJ. Normally (the journey) is around 1.5 hours,” he said.
