As the Penrith Panthers chase an unprecedented fourth successive NRL title, Cleary has opened a window into how he balances the big game pressure of football with down time in his personal life.

In a video posted to the Penrith Panthers official YouTube account, 26 year old Cleary gives viewers a tour of his recently updated home that sits close to the Nepean River.
Cleary bought the home from his father and coach Ivan in June last year for $1.7m
The star halfback sincerely embarks on a ‘moody’ home renovation in November with Alicia Xiberras Interiors.

The living room flows nicely outside to the BBA area.
While Cleary has been tight-lipped about his relationship with Matildas star Mary Fowler, the 25-year-old has opened up his home to his army of footy fans and renovation afficianados via the video.

At the start of the video, Cleary can be seen relaxing on his couch with his dog Prince talking about what he loves about the home.
“I feel lucky to be out here, where I can get home and I’m away from the spotlight and really be myself and relax and hang out with this fella Prince,” he said.
Nathan Cleary bought the home from his father and coach Ivan.
Cleary then leads the film team throughout his house, firstly to his TV/recovery room.
“This is the chill room,” he said.

“For the Normatec [compression/recovery garments]have a stretch, very low key, it’s one of my favorite rooms in the house.
“I come here after the game and watch the game on TV.”
Another highlighted part of the delightfully contemporary home is the living area which flows seamlessly into the outdoor balconies and BBQ area.

The brand new putting green!
“I get [Mitch] Kenny over on the night before a game, cook a BBA and what the footy here.
“Just chill out here and hang out when people are here.”

Cleary also has a great set up outside with a modern pool and a new putting green.
“I’ve got the pool for when it’s hot in summer and it’s good for recovery as well,” he said.
“I just got the putting green put in, so that’s another nice addition. I usually can’t bring Prince down here because he is obsessed with golf balls and he chases them around.”

The video concludes with Cleary talking about what he enjoys away from the NRL.
“I’m a pretty chilled person. I find joy in simple things like reading a book, or being able to lay outside in the sun with Prince or just watching a movie.
